Scope
Delivered in nineteen weeks against a fixed opening date, with mature stock craned into the courtyard before the surrounding hard landscape was closed off.
Work performed
- Planting of 12 mature Canary and date palms craned into position
- 84 further trees and specimen shrubs
- Seashore paspalum lawn to the pool lawn areas
- Bougainvillea and jasmine trained over the courtyard walls
- Planters and seasonal displays to the arrival forecourt
- Low-voltage lighting to trees and pathways
Irrigation
Fully automatic drip and micro-spray system with a separate salt-tolerant programme for the seafront lawn, which is irrigated from the hotel well.
Maintenance
Weekly maintenance under a rolling annual contract, including seasonal display changes four times a year and preventive red palm weevil treatment for all palms.
