Rosemary
Salvia rosmarinus
About this plant
Aromatic, evergreen, blue-flowering through the winter months when little else is in bloom, and effectively drought-proof. Used as a low hedge, a bank planting or an edging along paths where brushing past releases the scent.
Planting & care
Full sun and sharp drainage - wet feet is the only thing that kills it. Trim lightly after flowering; avoid cutting into bare old wood.
