About this plant
Supplied as turf rolls or sprigs. Hard-wearing, fast to repair itself and tolerant of heat and heavy use, which makes it the default for parks, school grounds and family lawns. It does need sun - it will not hold under trees.
Planting & care
Full sun. Lay on a prepared, graded and drained topsoil base. Water daily for the first two weeks, then deeply and less often. Mow at 25-35 mm through the growing season; scarify and feed each spring.
